Attacks: Slightly different than Mario, Luigi not only has punching attacks and fire ball throwing, but head butting and karate-chopping as well.
Summery: Mario's bro, Luigi, first appeared in Mario Bros. arcade. He then became more popular by the time Super Mario Bros. came out for NES. He is younger but taller than Mario, and is his green counterpart. Luigi assists saving Mushroom Kingdom with Mario. If Mario is absent, Luigi will do his best to live up to the Mario Bros name. He owns his own mansion, which was originally haunted by ghosts and was abandoned. Luigi is known to occasionally be more cowardly than most, but for the most part he can persevere to the end.

How to Unlock -- Spoilers Below
Brawl: 22 vs Brawl matches, beat Classic with no continues, or get Luigi to join your part in The Subspace Emissary.
Melee: 800 vs. matches or in Adventure Mode, complete the stage with a 2 in the seconds meter (03:12:43 for example). You'll then view a scene where Luigi comes and kicks Mario away so he can fight you with Peach. Defeat them both, finish the game. Defeat Luigi.
Retro Smash: Beat Break the Targets with the 8 non hidden characters. Battle takes place at Peach's Castle.
